Tonight, we open @AMothersSong_.
It’s been over 5 years since @TaniAzevedo_ and I began plotting this story. I hope we’ll learn lots of new things about the show in the coming days. But for now, you only have 5 chances to catch it at @Macrobert and we’d love to see you there.

I love discovering new artists & music. Saturday I had the pleasure of meeting @Finn_Anderson who perform with @horsemusic in Glasgow. I have been exploring his work and WOW!
Finn‘s 2021 album Into The Arms Of Ghosts is gorgeous.

Last week ‘Islander’ concluded its US Tour after 105 performances. While the casts were taking their final bows, I was in Scotland on the Isle of Eigg (where Rùm on the horizon could almost be Islander’s mythical mountainous floating island of Setasea). 1/4 🧵
That joint sense of wonder & loss was such a big part of what inspired the story of ‘Islander’ 6 years ago, and it’s magic to see our small musical now travelling so far from home and resonating in different ways with new audiences. 3/4

Earth under feet and fire in the sky for tonight’s opening of ‘Sunset Song’ @DundeeRep. Happy Opening to our stellar team on & off the stage.
Personally, it’s been a special treat to make a show in the building where I had some of my first childhood theatre experiences.

This Saturday I’m opening for @samleesong in Edinburgh @Summerhallery.
Sam’s music is full of magic & mystery, and it’s a proper treat to open the show for him and his band as they visit Scotland.
Edinburgh folk, I’d love to see you there, for my first gig of the year! ❤️
