Grayslake IL Eng 2727 was placed in service in Aug 2018. The community was invited for its in service wet down where they signed the inside of a door that was later clear coated. Those names have traveled over 44,000 miles with our firefighter/paramedics on the job everyday.
A letter from Mitch Crooker (Batt. 19 Chicago Fire Department) to the chief taking his locker after his retirement with 39 years on the job. He worked in the Englewood area on the South side of Chicago. Notorious for crime and one of the busiest firehouses in the country.
