To GOP leadership: Let’s make this crystal fucking clear.
If you put John Thune back in leadership, consider every one of your seats officially on notice.
We already don’t like most of you. Your days are numbered, and the Republican base you’ve spent years dismissing is done tolerating your bullshit.
You will NOT hold this party hostage again.
Not this time. Not ever.
You’ve been warned.
@JudiciaryGOP @GOP @LeaderJohnThune
Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-South Dakota) confirmed that he’s running for minority leader.
Thune, 65, has served as majority leader for nearly two years since winning a competitive race to succeed Sen. Mitch McConnell (Kentucky). wapo.st/4jXKYKO

To every voter in Westchester County: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR POLLING PLACE UNTIL YOU VOTE.
Every ballot will be counted and we are already in court to make sure they are counted in **one central location** so that our campaign, election monitors, and our attorneys can watch and oversee the process.
I have confidence that every vote will be counted — just VOTE and have your voice heard. 🗳️ 🇺🇸

We wholeheartedly agree that candles make AMAZING Christmas gifts 😏
I’m on a crusade to make people stop gifting junk. It’s bad for the wallet, the environment, and the soul
Stocking stuffers don’t have to suck! They just shouldn’t be random crap:
The ideal items are either immediately consumable (candy, hot cocoa, etc) or something you need
Good categories for the latter include:
- Toiletries (nail clippers, makeup, makeup wipes, travel-size shampoos/sunscreen/etc)
-Socks, underwear, gloves, hats, scarves
-Books!!!
-Candles and mugs
-Office supplies (pens, pads, envelopes, stationery, postage stamps)
-Crayons, markers, chalk
-Pantry items (coffee, tea, local honey, fun hot sauce)
-Headphones, chargers, and AirTags, if that’s your type of budget
-Random household things that are actually useful (scissors, kitchen tools, fun soaps, batteries (I know it sounds weird but especially for toys!), Tide pens)
-Seeds and bulbs for planting
-Hobby items (golf balls and tees, guitar picks, yarn, fishing tackle, tennis or lacrosse balls)
Basically, for the love of Christmas, avoid anything marketed as a “stocking stuffer”

If Democrats win they will change elections laws and change our state forever.
I am very frustrated by national politics. But I know how important it is to save New Hampshire.
Republicans need to get to polls. There are no excuses.

After forty years in front of the camera, I’ll be directing my first feature film, SO HELP ME GOD: a Civil War epic about a Union soldier named Albert Townsend, who should have received the Medal of Honor but didn’t.
Clerical error.
I learned of Albert through his descendants’ archival research. What I found was more than an injustice waiting to be corrected. It was a story of friendship and extraordinary courage: an unassuming young man becoming a soldier who held his ground, and his principles, under fire.
That’s a story worth telling on the largest possible scale. And we’re inviting the people who want to see it told to help bring it to the screen, as investors in the film through Republic.
We intend to do it justice: real cannons, one hundred horses, and the cast in period-accurate uniforms. We’ve brought on Mark Huffam, whose work includes Saving Private Ryan, Game of Thrones, and The Martian, to produce it. He knows what it takes to make an epic, and how much depends on the human story at its heart.
At the Medal of Honor Heritage Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, I introduced the project alongside Civil War historian Brad Quinlin, members of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, and representatives of Civil War Roundtables. We’re also supporting the campaign for Albert’s posthumous Medal of Honor. His descendants are still fighting to see his courage properly recognized.
This picture is about friendship, love, and honor — and common people rising to accomplish extraordinary things. I want to give that story everything it deserves.
I hope you will lift the banner with us.
