I'm just going to say this for my followers, if your a minor let me know so I can avoid sending cringe that is explicit to ya all, I have fucking standards. Also, don't take everything I say literally.
Well if you cherry pick examples of selfishness and distrust and ignore all the times different species in Mass Effect stick their neck out for each other then sure. But that's missing the entire message of the trilogy.

the theme of Fallout: New Vegas DLC Dead Money was about how greed can be a prison. how holding on to things will only burden you.

Has anyone that played Rimworld tried a “Good” playthrough? No warcrimes, no slavery, no organ harvesting, no gas chambers, no drugs, no cannibalism. Just trying to be actual good people?
I don’t think I can personally, I like human leather couches

Unless the AU you're writing is specifically using an entirely new/completely different characterization for Ben, I need writers & artist to always keep in mind:
Ben would sooner sacrifice HIMSELF, even if it means his own death, before he sacrifices others in need of aid

Bob Ross is actually a perfect example to show why art lovers are unimpressed by AI art. Bob Ross is not famous for his paintings. He is famous for his videos in which he showed *how* he made his paintings. The process matters!

My fear from this is instead of 'democrotizing' creativity like the ai bros originally wanted is that everything will be 'centralized' instead and end up looking the same and there will be no expression of personal styles that would possibly come from new people in the future.

Fun little Mass Effect fact: the reapers had the most trouble with the Vorcha since theyre too stupid to be properly indoctrinated and they adapt too quickly to kill off.
Deprive a vorcha of water? It simple adapts in hours to not need it
Nuke them? Radiation no longer affects them
Its stated in ME3 that the reapers gave up and just decided to blockade the planet as to prevent them from reinforcing the wider conflict
They'd be a bigger threat than the Krogan if they weren't literally retarded

“CDProjekt Red would never write something” yeah but Pondsmith and R. Talsorian did, ya LARPer
Studio Trigger’s novel ideas for Cyberpunk as a setting are usually incredibly stupid and make it worse not better. CDProjekt Red would never write something as stupid as the Cyberskeleton or Project Capricorn, and it is excessively obvious that these things were just barely over the threshold of what CDPR would tolerate.

This guy isn’t gonna bring up how Sony overhired during COVID or their own statements about strategic “refocusing” across the board. I promise you…he won’t.
And since you want to argue that Ghost of Yotei wasn’t a seller, let’s talk about how this industry actually works.
PlayStation themselves have said that Ghost of Yotei was outperforming Ghost of Tsushima in sales over the equivalent period after launch. So where exactly does that leave your argument that the game wasn’t selling? It came from the horse's mouth:
videogameschronicle.com/news…
Now, let’s look at another example. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 sold around 16 million copies, and this was well before Wolverine was even out. Yet Insomniac still got hit with layoffs:

reddit.com/r/SpidermanPS4/co…
Regardless of your “subjective feelings” about Spider-Man 2, the game was critically acclaimed, earning a 90 on Metacritic, and sold extremely well.
Here’s the point you keep missing: a game can sell well, and a studio can still experience layoffs. Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive. Commercial success doesn’t guarantee job security, and layoffs alone don’t prove that a game underperformed.
Sony can be happy with Ghost of Yotei’s sales while still making economic adjustments across its various divisions. Both things can be true at once.
You can sell millions of copies and still have people lose their jobs. That’s the reality YOU conveniently keep overlooking. 😂🫵
