Can we mentally solve 91 divided by 7? Maybe not, but we sure did use a lot of strategies! During our “Partitions and Participations” we worked on our own to solve. Then we put down our partitions and shared. We voted for our favorite strategy and landed on number bonds!!!

Our first day in “horizontal spaces” was pretty nice! We are working on building up our math talk and mathematical thinking, while giving each other feedback on their thinking. They did well for their first try. Next time, they’ll be challenged with my DOK questioning!!!
