Very pleased to see that Freddy Krueger is pissing off all the right people - it's been 16 years since the last Elm Street and he's still killing it. The embodiment of a horror legend.

FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2 (1981) is one of the best horror sequels ever made. I think I probably enjoy it as much as the original.

CRYSTAL LAKE clearly left an impression, so tonight’s double feature isn’t even up for debate.

Whatever your thoughts on the series, CRYSTAL LAKE is encouraging a lot of new fans to check out the original movies - and this is awesome.

A BAY OF BLOOD (1971) three years before that… PEEPING TOM (1960) eleven years before that… No single film “invents” a subgenre - cinema evolves.

The climax of James Cameron's ALIENS (1986) remains one of the best third acts in cinematic history. It's that simple.

CRYSTAL LAKE reminded me how effective the "sack head" Jason was. I sometimes wish the movies had spent more time with this look.

Very sad to hear that Tom Skerritt has died. Tom was one of the first people I interviewed for THE FINAL SCREAM way back in 2017. I remember being impressed with both his honesty and candour. Incredible actor, and an incredible human being. RIP, Tom. Thanks for everything.
