๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง A 15-year-old teenager in the UK was questioned by police after posting an edited image of a local politician in rabbit ears. In the original post, the 15-year-old Reform supporter wrote "Can you hear it? That's the sound of a rabbit devouring the last remaining shreds of Wolverhampton Conservatives' credibility" The Conservative councillor, Simon Bennett, reported the posts to the police, causing four officers to show up at the boys' family home, seize his devices, and take his DNA, fingerprints and mugshot.

Flock Cameras are finally going to be (mostly) removed from St. Johns county. Glad to see the commissioners still have common sense.

This decision requires the removal of 89 LPRs located on county rights-of-way, however, an effective date for disabling the systems has not been determined. In September, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office removed 84 LPRs in accordance with the Florida Department of Transportationโ€™s directive to remove LPRs on state rights-of-way. SJSO is in full compliance with that order. LPRs on private property and those operated by HOAs will remain unaffected. SJSO has consistently supported the responsible use of LPR technology, with safeguards in place. We have listened to community concerns, presented information, and corrected misinformation. Weโ€™ve enhanced controls, reduced data retention and access, limited information sharing, strengthened auditing, monitoring, and oversight to ensure compliance and prevent misuse. We believe public safety and personal privacy can coexist and disagree with the decision made by the county commission to remove LPRs. We are confident this will ultimately affect the safety of our community. Desantis is our only reasonable option in 2028
This is a foolish constitutional amendment proposal. We already have a maxed out rainy day fund and have run the largest surpluses in state history. Any additional revenue should be used for lower taxes, including assisting local governments with grants so that homestead properties can be exempt from local property tax. Surplus revenue could also be used to remove tolls once the property tax issue is settled. I recommend a NO vote.
