Got back from a camping adventure at Highlands Hammock State Park six days ago. It was a blast. That gem of a park is just outside Sebring, Florida. It's one of the 8 original Parks in Florida's State Park System.
Camp store very well stocked w/ the usual stuff & more. Unlike many other Parks, this store is open 7 days a wk. We often camp on "school days" because of work hours & have had 2 head 2 the nearest big box store 4 stuff I could have bought on site if the store wasnt weekends only
I will most certainly be going back to #HighlandsHammockStatePark soon. We were just able to scratch the surface in our 2 day excursion.

Komodo Dragon snapped at WDW Animal Kingdom in 2020. He seemed like his day was going alright. Frankly, I found him to be rather aloof. #GetOutdoors

This month's camping trip to #TrimblePark in Orange County was very worthwhile. Day 1 was awesome! Day 2, not so much. Yeah, we had the kind of storms we here in Florida see regularly. Will be returning before long, nevertheless. It's one of the best parks in our part of Florida.
