We could reach the group again. They are in urgent distress and are calling for help. We talked to authorities in #Egypt and #Greece on the phone - both refuse to help. Stop playing with people's lives and launch a rescue operation NOW!

A sad reminder that this Labour govt is still pursuing an agenda to slash refugee rights -allow use of force on families & children -charge recognised refugees £10k before they can settle -use AI to “determine” age among young ppl & kids Mahmood’s asylum bill must be stopped.
Labour voters have turned on Shabana Mahmood over migration, a major new poll shows. Almost half of 2024 Labour voters are dissatisfied with the Government’s handling of immigration and asylum, according to a YouGov survey. 🔗 telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

12 hours. That's how long the Italian authorities knew about this boat before our crew reached the survivors. 12 hours in which people died. 6 people, including children, are still missing. What happened in that time? 👇
🔴 At least 2 people are dead, including a child. 28 survived because our Aurora crew rescued them from a sinking dinghy and the Hasdrubal gas platform in the morning of 29.09. Our anger and grief are almost impossible to put into words. People have died again. The EU is guilty.

Here’s The Civil Fleet’s first (and possibly last) ever news Vlog! In this ep, we look at the knife-wielding fascist who attacked a migrant boat in the Channel, and juxtapose that with the actions of the refugee rescuers in the Med this week. youtu.be/AFufhEb92cM?is=wrDZ…
