It hasn't been easy, but somehow we got a team on the field and we've had some great moments along the way - and done some good in the community as well, raising money for Kids in Distress, Feeding South Florida, and You Can Play thru various efforts.

On this day 5 years ago - April 9, 2017 - Himmarshee FC was founded at Lockhart Stadium.
We'd lost our club but didn't wait around for someone else to do something about it. We didn't wallow in sadness or beg celebrities to save us. We made it happen ourselves.

Well, today is a big day & we hoped to be celebrating it in grander style than a few tweets, but alas, life - & soccer - don't always work out the way you hope.
We don't know what the future holds for us, but we recognize this important milestone regardless.

Yo @glassman4ftl
You could have had an excellent "sports destination" that delivered a public park, public fields, and PERMANENT, upgraded, historic stadium - all while actually getting fair rent payments instead of just $50 and zero revenue from the facilities.
