NEW WORK + THE EXCITING OPPORTUNITY OF AI VIDEO 2023-2024 One thing we've been firm believers at @fellowshiptrust is curation. Curation means many things, but one thing we've worked heavily on is developing emerging artists and helping them find collectors, but most importantly, framing their work within a context that: -Fosters creativity -Fosters critical feedback -Supports experimentation -Supports collaborations -Builds a framework for their unique ideas and their relationship to the broader practice and ideas the works converse with. We believe that AI video experimentations from 2023 to 2024 are and will be seen as the seeds of capabilities and creative opportunities of the genre/medium. The Daily Program has now published and placed over 2K artworks that together form a broad and eclectic understanding of what AI video is. This NFT smart contract will now become a timeline of individual artists' evolutions and that of the medium they used. This curated survey has been a sort of live performance of how every access, update, and invention of new AI tools changed to stories and the formal explorations of the artists participating. The opportunity is gigantic: build an art project minted on the blockchain that traces the live and accelerated change in a genre that last year produced very clunky type images (think of Will Smith eating spaghetti) to now, capable of producing photo-realistic moving images and original AI sounds and music. The Daily Program will stand as a witness and participant in the evolution of AI video. Still, almost one year after the start of the program, we continue to see more and more experiments that are innovating the ways to tell stories with these tools. We are honored to be working with these artists taking risks and willing to experiment. In 2021, the NFT space was about finding new artists and then we kind of stalled all support to new voices. We believe that new voices are the fire that keeps art exciting and challenging the status quo of what art can be. Art is here to shake us up. To make us feel. To make us think. Emerging art does all that naturally. Here is new vibrant work from the artists who keep pushing, are focused on the art, and are doing incredible things no matter what is happening around them.
