Recently, I often forget that the Flyers were one of the league’s most successful franchises. They made playoffs 36 out of their first 44 seasons through 2012. Since 2013, they’ve made playoffs 5 times in their last 14 seasons.

The Minnesota Wild have made NHL history, becoming the FASTEST team to 1,000 regular-season wins 🔥 They reached the milestone in just 1,995 games, breaking the Flyers’ previous record of 2,018 🤯

Flyers fans raising 2K in under a hour for a "Fire Tocchet" banner is the type of hate you have to respect.

Briere won’t fire Tocchet because that would mean two head coaches fired in the 3 years he’s been the GM. It would be admitting to failure and incompetence for him and Keith Jones. Which they won’t do to themselves. Zero accountability.

I'm actually pretty pissed at TK's reaction. Get Michkov some fucking talent to finish his passes. Follow his fucking lead. Potential super star wants to stay out there. He trained for it. fuck off tk you've had 8 years to make this your team. fall in line.

Little frustration moment there by Konecny... Michkov had two chances to change to let Konecny come on, never went to bench, TK slammed his stick on bench as Rangers went up ice, then Michkov iced the puck as he went for the change and Konecny let out a big f*ck

Right now, the Penguins: • Are old • Slow • Small • Their older players are starting too look old • Their younger players don’t look NHL ready • They play an insanely stupid brand of hockey • They’re easy to play against Other than that, all is well.

Not a coincidence that a leadership group of Sean Couturier, Travis Konecny and Travis Sanheim are the common denominators for the worst decade+ of flyers hockey. TK showing up a 21 year old in front of everyone on the bench and making it a headline instead of doing it privately

Cam York has no idea what he's doing 100% of the time.

No, the Flyers aren't going to get 33-year old Nikita Kucherov.

There once was a time a captain of the Flyers would stand on business instead of calling his team soft. #LetsGoFlyers

Personally, I love Nick Seeler. Always have. But he has had terrible year himself so far. His “close your eyes and rim the puck” strategy fails 9/10. Should probably leave the comments for guys that actually have a future with this team.

I just don’t understand how much longer you can let this go on for the flyers. It’s a culture problem. It’s a leadership problem.

The general consensus from the Flyers’ locker room was that they had no energy to start the game, and nobody knew why Don’t feel like it’s controversial anymore to say the Flyers have leadership issues somewhere on the chain

It would be most ideal (not realistic) to trade 71/74/11/55/8 for an upside center (Beniers/Desnoyers) or a top 4 upside defenseman (Edvinsson/Nikishin). Then I’d say call up Luchanko and Murchison, give the kids more time in the lineup and let them run wild.

Flyers Observations: 1) Bonk and Knuble proved they should consistently stay in an NHL lineup 2) Bump is creating chances with speed, just needs to finish, keep 3) McDonald has been solid, keep 4) 71 has been brutal for an extended period 5) Benoit and Bunting are pointless

It’s very rare for a defenseman will Jamie Drysdale’s skillset to have 0 points after 11 games but still be considered to have a good season but I think that is the current case. It shouldn’t be lost that he’s played really well so far this year (outside of PP).

I know I complain about the flyers not having a 1c. But is a 29 year old Larkin really in line with our timeline? We already talk about trading Konecny, Sanheim, Tippett, etc. Id have a tough time giving up younger assets for Larkin, personally.

Not to stir anything but notice when you remove like 75% of the "middle aged vets" suddenly the team looks young and fun and has a ton of energy?

Please get Michkov and Martone a legit center so we can watch that line together for the next decade.
