Boomers are absolutely obsessed with eliminating property taxes, despite a lifetime of profiting from currency debasement &asset inflation Property taxes are the oldest &fairest tax in existence, but they have no concept of responsibility — the most selfish generation in history
The most selfish generation in American history We have no choice but to break the back of the AARP lobby to ensure prosperity for ourselves and our children

I couldn't tell you how bullish I am about Third Worlders watching mobile video ads. GOOGL, META, and AAPL are my top three stock holdings, no joke. The future is a dilapidated metro bus full of the sounds of Instagram Reels playing in dozens of AI-dubbed languages.
Long Meta, long Google, long people milling about watching short-form AI videos in public on speaker.

Part of the reasoning gaming is dying is because mobile social media, gambling, and pr0n offer more immediate satisfaction. Even Netflix is not safe from these threats; viewing time is down and the stock is in freefall.

I've always found Netflix's weak point to be its lack of original IP. Nobody cares about Stranger Things and Squid Game. The failed WBD purchase was an attempt to rectify this.

I get the impression GTA VI is a last hurrah of sorts for the industry.

I'm not sure what there is after that. Maybe Larian's new project? The next generation of consoles will be branded PCs and cost $2,000.

As I reported hours ago, Flávio Bolsonaro has arrived safely in United States. The mastermind behind this operation is U.S. Secretary of State @SecRubio . From the United States, free and safe, Flávio will lead the opposition against Lula.

Existing homeowners, Oldllennials with inheritance/family money, affluent Third World diasporoids, people who won a personal injury lawsuit. That's about it, minus the odd business owner or successful professional.
I would like to see an article profiling the buyers who CAN afford the house. There are a lot of people out there who are supporting current price levels by buying the houses at these prices. This would be more interesting that saying "no one" can afford a house.

There's also an emerging group of younger, liquid millionaires (low 7-figures) who don't own a home because it doesn't make sense to buy at these prices. Most are based in coastal California or NYC, where they're still not considered rich.

The majority of home purchases are just Boomers moving to a new house (the first category).

Economics departments at the most prestigious universities in the country will tell you with a straight face that this constitutes production.
I have an old Wells Fargo checking account that I don’t use much but keep open just in case—or, rather, I did until I learned that it had been drained by Wells Fargo.

The online job application system is just another class filter they put in place. The upper classes don't apply for jobs, they get recruited. Failing that, they create a startup, siphon VC money, and eventually fall forward into executive roles when they spend it all on oysters.
Silicon Valley faggots should quit inventing another app nobody asked for and work on fixing the online job application system. That shit’s been completely broken for years

The most America A moment I've lived through was during an "icebreaker" in San Francisco. The class was asked to name which historical figure they would meet if it were possible to do so, and a guy from New York raised his noodly arm and said, "Michelle Obama." Everyone clapped.
America A, everyone

It's a tough choice between this and $100,000 truck Sunbelt Hell. I understand why Americans defected to the Soviet Union.
