Okay, so I’ve spoken to @FabrizioRomano.
It looks as though Chelsea have agreed Ahanor’s signing as a deferred transfer for the 27/28 season, while this season he’ll join Palace on loan from Atalanta.
Ergo, no rule break with Disasi.
Fab told me: “I can only guarantee to you that this season he plays at Palace and next season he plays at Chelsea.”

🚨🔵🔴 Crystal Palace agree deal to sign Honest Ahanor on loan from Chelsea, here we go!
Verbal agreement done as Honest Ahanor joins Chelsea from Atalanta for £40m and then joins #CPFC on loan.
Medical booked on Monday.
#AD I've taken over Chelsea in 2004/05 on Retro Football Manager 2027.
Signed Alan Shearer and Paul Scholes, sold Gallas (of course), and Shearer's already scoring alongside Drogba.
Fancy a retro save yourself?

Man United have conceded inside TWO minutes in consecutive Champions League games.
Bruno says conceding early puts the team in a "mood of defeat". If your most important player and leader admits the team feels beaten with 88 minutes on the clock, how do you fix that problem?
Also, there's a bigger question about appointing Carrick at all.
Solskjær won 14 of 19 as caretaker. Carrick won 11 of 16. Both got deals, but I'd argue they just transformed the mood. Lifting a dressing room after a crisis and building a side are two very different things. We've seen it time and time again with ex-players turned interim managers, especially in the EPL.
That's valuable, but it doesn't prove they're the right person to build something long-term.
Have United twice mistaken a short-term morale boost for a genuine rebuild? Subsequently, even without hindsight, was putting Carrick in charge a mistake?
With that said, if Bruno is saying that a defeatist mentality is there, perhaps the problem runs a lot deeper than Carrick.

Last week I asked why Chelsea score so quickly after kick-off and half-time.
Neto says Alonso adjusted the build-up against Everton's man-to-man press at the break.
43 seconds later, he scored.
Nine of our 17 league goals have come in the first 10 minutes of either half. #CFC
Something Xabi Alonso is getting right at Chelsea is how we start games and come out after half-time.
Eight of our 15 Premier League goals have come in the first ten minutes of either half. That's over HALF our goals in just 20 of the game.
What's interesting is that his Leverkusen side were particularly dangerous late on in games. During their unbeaten season, the final 15 minutes was their most productive period.
So what's is it? For me it's got to be the players. When you have that front three of youth and pace you attack with everything and then hope that's enough. It's not a flawless system and it needs to be backed up by better work at the back, but it's fun to watch.
Whatever he's doing in that dressing room, I'd love to know.
Let me know your thoughts, I'm genuinely interested.

Arsenal announced 55 redundancies in 2020, becoming the 1st EPL club to announce major job cuts during Covid.
Six years later, they've won the league, reported record revenue of £691m and are proposing 60 cuts.
Covid was the explanation then. What's driving it now? #AFC

Man City were found guilty of disguising £830m of owner funding as sponsorship.
Bloomberg says that before the verdict, City held settlement talks over a payment instead of relegation/title stripping.
Talks failed.
City still say they're innocent.
Why negotiate?

Man United could lose JJ Gabriel, on their books since 11, to Barça, Real Madrid, Bayern or PSG for £350k compensation and no sell-on clause.
One of England’s top teenagers could leave for the price of a League Two player.

Harry Kane is just 34 goals behind EVERY West Ham striker and winger COMBINED for top-flight league goals scored for West Ham since Uber West Ham called him a “one season wonder”. #WHUFC
Some VERY recognisable former Premier League names are still free agents.
All can sign outside the window:
🏴 Jadon Sancho, 26
🇺🇦 Zinchenko, 29
🇫🇷 Martial, 30
🇨🇮 Zaha, 33
🏴 Sterling, 31
🇫🇷 Paul Pogba, 33
🏴 Dele Alli, 30
At their peaks, that's £200m+ worth of footballers.
I've never had a tweet where so many people are like:
"This is genius. Out of all the punishments I've seen I think this one covers it."
&
"You decide nothing, not even who your slut sleeps with. Fuck off."
Two genuine replies. It was just an idea. It won't happen. #MCFC
Relegating Man City would actually let them off lightly.
My punishment:
-35 points for their next FIVE Premier League seasons. And no Champions League qualification during that period, by any route.
The punishment is fixed. The consequences aren't.
Get 100 points? Congratulations, you've got 65. Enjoy the Europa League.
Have a normal City season? You're finishing mid-table.
Have a bad one? You're in a relegation fight.
Here's the best bit, if they DO get relegated, the clock stops.
They don't get to spend a year battering Championship teams, come straight back up and call the punishment served. They return to the Premier League and the -35 is sitting there waiting for them.
After a couple of years without title races or Champions League football, maybe players leave. Maybe recruitment gets harder. Maybe maintaining a '90-point team' gets harder too.
Five Premier League seasons.
No title race. No Champions League. No easy reset.
Just £1bn worth of squad fighting for 10th.
Beautiful. #MCFC
One final thing, to the people who are saying the EPL can't enforce a Champions League ban, they actually can.
Every English club needs a SEASONAL FA-issued UEFA Club Licence to enter UEFA competition, even if they win it.
Don't issue the license, don't get into Europe.

Can I state multiple points here
1) Multiple people seem to have missed No Champions League by any means.
2) I didn't move them down leagues on purpose because there seems to be multiple issues with the EFL, hence the multiple point deduction over multiple seasons.
3) I'm fine with no sponsorship.
4) I'm fine with a transfer ban.
5) I also don't mind 30 points for a few more seasons or 40 points for 5.
It was just an idea, was it shit, actually I think it's semi-reaonable. I don't think anybody will find the perfect solution.
Roberto Mancini was asked about the alleged “double contract” during his time at Man City:
“Manchester City are not guilty and, as for the double contract, it’s not my problem, but theirs, if anything.”
That is an absolutely extraordinary answer.
