I hope that’s the case, and he doesn’t get overlooked like @ForgottenDodger.

October 11, 1978 - 47 years ago today - was Jim Gilliam's funeral. It was the morning of Game Two of the Yankees-Dodgers World Series. Here is how I describe the scene in the book along with images of the funeral program I own. Rev. Jesse Jackson delivered the eulogy.
Thank you!
My followers should check out Interstate 85, even if that postseason includes Ozzie Smith taking Tom Niedenfuer deep 😞
Ordered a copy of @ForgottenDodger for my Dad’s birthday today and you should do the same.
Had a great conversation with @BDonohueWGBB Sunday night about Jim Gilliam. You can listen at the link or on your favorite podcast app. Bonus is that you get to hear @MarshallGarvey talk about Interstate '85 in the second half!
