I will defend Kappa Mikey a bit i dont think it was made with contempt unlike other anime parodies it had some "deep cut" references that went beyond Akira Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball like other cartoon anime parodies there were clearly Otaku on Kappa Mikeys staff
