Call me paranoid, but be extra careful visiting ANY web site in the next few days, as some web admins are not always up-to-date with security patches.
Two vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) reported for PHP, the web programming language, affecting servers running popular apps like WordPress and Magento, with patches released October 21, 2026 after details leaked early.
Exploitation was confirmed in the wild soon after disclosure, prompting quick WAF protections and patching by IT teams, as unauthenticated attacks could turn visited sites into vectors for credential theft or device exploits.

Dear Friends and Family,
Aunt Barb is now in the final stage of her battle with cancer and on hospice care.
She helped raise me, stepping in as my legal guardian when my parents were serving as missionaries in Africa. Aunt Barb taught me more than I can imagine..how to cook like a chef, clean (properly), and was my tough-but-loving drill sergeant long before I joined the Air Force. She’s been my counselor, my go-to person whenever anyone got hurt..the steady rock I could always count on.
But my story isn’t unique. Aunt Barb spent her life pouring into others: first as a delivery room nurse, then for nearly 19 years as a missionary in Africa, touching thousands of lives with quiet compassion and selflessness.
Now, when she needs us most, let’s show up for her.
We’ve set up a GoFundMe to help cover her hospice care, pain management, and expenses so we can focus on keeping her comfortable and surrounded by love.

In his nomination letter, Figel cited the following achievements:
