You missed the point Sam made.
It’s not that Luke having moments of weakness is bad. It’s called character development.
It’s when you change Luke offscreen from where we last saw him in Ep 6 to what he is in Ep 8 with little to no explanation. That invites controversy.
Here’s my theory about The Acolyte Pt 1:
The unknown planet from El 6 is Bal’demnic, a vast ocean planet with rocky tropical islands, rich in Cortisis ore.
Why is this important? Because Bal’demnic is the planet Darth Plagueis kills Darth Tenebrous on. 👀

#TheAcolyte Ep 5 was the best of the series so far. I actually enjoyed it. The lightsaber choreography is the best we’ve seen in Disney Star Wars, but I don’t think it tops Duel of the Fates/Anikan vs Obi-Wan.
A few story points were iffy, but the episode was entertaining.
