Despite the Duke of Beaufort's huntsman and whipper in both facing a court trial for illegal hunting they are insistent on continuing to blatantly break the law and terrorise wildlife. On Thursday 22nd of October they were caught red-handed once again as drone footage captured them killing a fox and disposing of the body as they met in Bremhill, Calne. Not content with this kill they continued to hunt and chase another fox. Two days later and they're back at it, hunting at least two foxes and causing distress to other wildlife such as hares and deer. Hunts are behaving with impunity while the vast majority of the public are waiting for the government to deliver what was promised in their manifesto, a full ban on hunting with hounds. "Where is the damned ban?" - Chris Packham, Broadcaster and Environmental Campaignerl

It’s quite mad that the collapse of the UK’s biodiversity isn’t even on the radar of the right wing patriots - the literal land they claim to care for is being ruined… yet, not a whisper. Tommy tells them what to think I guess… 🤨

You’d think a school would follow procedure but they didn’t post a tree work notification, resulting in a lot of residents worried and wasted valuable @bristolcouncil tree officers time. And what an ugly mess too! Shame. @EACTBannermanRd

Important to know: We’re gifting £10 Billion to Ukraine.
I had a great conversation with the UK Prime Minister @AndyBurnham, and we are grateful to Britain for its unwavering, strong, and truly leading support. Today, Britain made a strong decision to provide an additional £10 billion in financial support – £7 billion in economic support over the next three years, and another £3 billion in British export support, primarily for the supply of much-needed weapons that will strengthen our protection of lives. This is on top of the annual support Britain already provides to Ukraine. A truly strong and very timely step – coming right as Russia needs to see and feel that Ukraine will not be left alone to deal with the problems Russia is so eager to escalate. Every step to strengthen Ukraine brings Russia closer to realizing that it must end this war of its own making. Of course, Andy and I also discussed sanctions policy, and Britain will remain principled on this – setting an example that matters globally. I am grateful to Britain, to Prime Minister Andy Burnham and his team, and to every person around the world who understands that standing with Ukraine is the right thing to do – that it means being on the right side of history. 🇺🇦🇬🇧

🤬 Finland: Google cleared an estimated 250,000 trees across 330 hectares at Muhos for a data centre before the required environmental assessment was completed, The Guardian reports. Police are investigating suspected illegal logging. Google told the BBC it had “fallen short of our own high standards in this instance”.

🚨The BBC Let Whitehall Write Its News — Then Pretended It Was Independent Civil servants from the Home Office, HMRC and other departments spent months inside BBC News and BBC Verify. They drafted articles, analysed small-boat numbers, checked crime stats and fact-checked politicians — all published under ordinary BBC bylines with no mention they still worked for the government. The BBC says its own editors kept final control. That may be true on paper. It doesn’t explain why taxpayer-funded officials were quietly producing the copy on the most contested stories while viewers were told it was pure BBC work. The secondments have been running for years. Bylines are only now being “corrected.” A broadcaster that lectures everyone else about trust has been running a government placement scheme in its fact-checking unit and hoping nobody noticed.

They (@michaelgove) go to extreme lengths to cover-up their predilection for youngsters. Any word on this ? @BBCBristol @BBCNews or are you still covering for the #EpsteinClass ?

Then things get weird... One week later, 10th Oct, the Telegraph breaks the story, followed shortly by GB News and the Daily Mail. None of them mentions her connection to Gove. Then all three articles disappear! 🤷‍♀️ These are all archived articles, as the originals have vanished👇 10/

Somehow the press didn't think it was in the public interest to report on an Oxford academic who was, at that point, as far as they were concerned, also Michael Gove's girlfriend, being charged with possessing indecent images of children 🤷‍♀️ 7/

What Brits should take from this clip, above all else, is the low low low regard Jacob Rees-Mogg has for the intelligence of the British people. I was at uni with a lot of these Eton weirdos - to a man they regard you as less useful than pond life. They literally use that language about you on a regular basis in the Pitt and Bullingdon clubs. He thinks you will buy his scary bedtime story about big bad Vladimir without question because you are thick.

Last night I saw badgers, foxes and a hedgehog all in a completely neglected zone. For years I’ve alerted all local environmental groups but they rather help posh streets install pathetic planters than actual help for wildlife. @avonwt @BristolCouncil

Seen a fox, squirrel or hedgehog in an urban green space? The Living with Mammals survey needs your sightings! The @PTES survey helps monitor changes in wild mammal populations, identifying those in most need of urgent conservation action. More: littlegreenspace.org.uk/news…

The gilt-plated pensions for early retiring, gravy-train riding civil servants are a HUGE problem, not the state pension available for us plebs. #uk #pensions @andyburnham

A lot of Israeli's throwing shade at the UK in the last 24hrs... including Netanyahu's son who's said Argentina should have the Falklands. This makes me happy. Keep it up, please. Make yourselves MORE disliked, if that is even possible.

I’ve been saying this for years.
when you meet someone, you can almost always tell which social media platform fine tuned their brain / thoughts. esp in nyc. e.g. most ppl likely now have an insta personality / aesthetic outlook (esp women), or a reddit personality (likely dudes), or maybe even an x personality (weirdos) to some extent. i guess chatgpt is likely the next personality influencer too. you are a product of your thoughts, & your thoughts are the product of your feed & of likely next the personal ai agent you let in to your life.

THE ADVISORY FIRM In early October 2013 Ariane de Rothschild wrote to Jeffrey Epstein about a structure that would let her family’s bank work more freely with outside partners. She described the idea of an “advisory firm” through which they could take mandates from a wide range of clients without the usual bank constraints. Summers appears in the same thread. He told Epstein he had recently had a good conversation with Ehud Barak in Aspen and hoped they could collaborate on something soon. The exchange places three people in the same operational orbit: a senior figure from the Edmond de Rothschild Group, a former Israeli prime minister, and a former U.S. Treasury Secretary, all discussing flexible advisory arrangements with Epstein as the common node. No formal firm is shown being created in the available messages. What is shown is the ease with which the conversation moved between banking structure, political access, and personal coordination.
