There was no RMT picket line in Scarborough today, so climate activists, peace activists and trade unionists mounted a solidarity picket. We collected £41 for the strike fund. Trains, not bombs! Public transport not climate change! @RMTunion

More environmental harm needed for fracking. Wait till they scatter pumping stations, processing plants and water clean up plants around the coutryside. All huge and all leaking gases to air. Cameron said in Davis 2014 - if any environmental harm, it would not go ahead. Well?

I've been in the High Courts as a named Defendant against the @INEOS 'fracking for plastics' monster and their draconian injunction against Persons Unknown. In 2017 Justice Morgan upheld the Injunction. The Court of Appeal granted us an Appeal Hearing which is soon next week.
Join us outside #ScarboroughBoroughCouncil to demand they follow through, with their commitment, to their climate emergency declaration.

Great to see the letter from academics in @thetimes today urging Govt to drop its support for #fracking Certainly tops the one from "experts" with links to the fossil fuel industry which called for a weakening of safety standards! drillordrop.com/2019/02/27/d…
Join the Extinction Rebellion protest, 1pm Friday outside Scarborough Town Hall (St Nicholas Street) to demand the council back their declaration of climate change with action. System change not climate change!
