What would be cool to hear from a 40-year old virgin on stream? 🥹 Cause tomorrow morning I will be booming out on stream with some of my CS friends @Alkem1stCS , @FragRCS and @PedECS2. We will be opening a bunch of Pokémon packs while enjoying the CS2 RMR Major (I'll get streaming rights next year...) Will also talk a bit about the business, life, Alkemist's relationship with Andrew Tate and why I believe the next insane CS2 skin hype cycle is just around the corner. A few thoughts on our recent launch of Pokémon on GamerPay.. So we’ve quietly dropped Pokémon into our universe. Now users can spend their balance on either CS2 skins or graded Pokémon cards. A massive milestone for us, and I couldn’t be prouder of what our small team has achieved! A bit of context... Since 2021, we’ve dreamed of building a platform that offers more than just one game’s collectibles. But we knew we had to gain traction in one game before tackling others. After empowering hundreds of thousands of gamers and handling nearly a million trades, we’re finally ready to broaden our vision. And now, to be totally real with you... the CS side of things on GamerPay could use some extra love, and will get it. It’s been tough since Valve cut their APIs in April. But we’ve always wanted to create something bigger - something that stretches beyond Steam and doesn’t rely so heavily on Gaben and his minions😏 Why Pokémon? We wanted a game with a thriving market. After many chats with developers and realizing how closed-off most games are, we turned our attention to TCGs. After surveying our users, we found 7% were into trading card games, and most of them were into Pokémon. The more we researched, the more we realized that a marketplace for graded cards could be game-changing. So, with the same passion we have for helping CS lovers, we’re now helping TCG collectors trade their graded cards - starting with Pokémon! I’m personally excited to dive into this new world, and I’ve already swapped some skins for awesome cards that I'm sure my son also will treasure when he’s older.
