2 years, 4 months and 23 days ago this parliament voted to declare a housing emergency.
Scottish Parliament has the power to half homelessness, so what are we waiting for?
It was great to get the chance to speak to new Scottish Labour leader @michaeljmarra on behalf of @ScottishFabians at conference in Liverpool last week - have a look:

Great to take this motion on women’s representation and safety in politics through Women’s and Annual Conference with LLRG - and to have JCWIL graduates @FrancescaLabour and @mahil_kiran move and second it.
Proud to work with Kiran Mahil and @LabourWomensNet in my role as Vice Chair of Labour in Local and Regional Government - we used our #Lab26 time to talk about safety for women in politics and representation. More work to do but glad to get unanimous support from conference!

Today, the Scottish Parliament backed Scottish Labour’s motion to recommit to legal targets on child poverty.
Now, all parties should get round the table and agree the practical measures needed to meet those targets and lift children out of poverty.
