On this 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion, the national poppy campaign is underway
At Toronto’s Union Station, a striking 9-metre tribute called Don’t Forget to Remember features a portrait of Allan “Scotty” Davidson, assembled from roughly 5,000 handwritten sticky notes of remembrance
At 23, Scotty captained the Toronto Blueshirts (the forerunner of the Maple Leafs) to Toronto’s first Stanley Cup in 1914. He was among the first professional hockey players to enlist when war broke out, and was killed in action near Givenchy on 16 June 1915. He is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1950
The campaign raises essential funds to support veterans and their families—through transition programs, emergency assistance, and community support. More than 120,000 Canadians have given their lives in service
Wear a poppy. Donate if you can. Remember. #DontForgetToRemember #PoppyCampaign #LestWeForget #RoyalCanadianLegion @RoyalCdnLegion

JUST IN: SpaceX is proposing up to 456 Starship launches and 912 landings per year from its Starbase facility in Texas, according to Bloomberg.
The plan would allow more than one Starship launch per day on average, a dramatic expansion from the 25 annual launches previously reviewed by the FAA.
The 912 landings account for separate returns of the Super Heavy booster and Starship upper stage.
The FAA is preparing an environmental review and public consultation before deciding whether to authorize the expansion.
If approved and achieved, the proposed flight rate would mark a major step toward SpaceX's goal of making Starship a rapidly reusable launch system capable of supporting large-scale satellite deployment, lunar missions and eventually Mars transportation.
Imagine paying 8 Billion for the NHL rights and not bothering to broadcast Frozen Frenzy or your own version @Sportsnet
