@ABDanielleSmith says her base is not the separatists.
They are the Albertans who want books banned, who want support for anti-vaxers, who want to put their boots on the necks of immigrants, take away trans rights…
Those are the separatists.

Breaking: Donald Trump was "an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of young women in the mid-to-late 1990s,” according to a report issued today by Dems on the House Judiciary Committee. The report includes one new rape allegation against Trump, and calls for a special investigation of the Trump administration's cover-up of Epstein's crimes.

Kids’ education should never be a political football.
Right now in Alberta, some children who live here, whose families followed the rules and filed their paperwork on time, are still being left outside the classroom because of a federal processing backlog colliding with provincial funding rules tied to the September count date. Empty desks are not an abstract policy outcome. They are children.
Adults can debate immigration levels, capacity, and who pays. What should not be negotiable is that a child ready to learn does not become the person who pays for an administrative pile-up between Edmonton and Ottawa. The school system exists to teach kids—not to make them a bargaining chip.
Whatever Albertans decided on October 19, the standard for our public education system should stay the same: all kids who live here and are ready to learn deserve a quality education. That remains my focus going forward.

Alberta’s Minister of Health/Hospitals wants Albertans to know that the government is building everything they can to manage the incoming flu season…
Except mention vaccines.
In fact, the last time she tweeted about vaccines?
Last year. But it was measles, not the flu.

Obama scrambled the psyche of people who just couldn't handle America electing a black president
Barack Obama claimed he ran for president to unite us all.
He did the opposite. And two decades later, he's still the divider-in-chief.
Obama should shut up, get off the campaign trail, and leave us all the hell alone.

I am deeply outraged by Melania Trump’s statement regarding the evacuation of civilians from Russian-occupied Oleshky.
“Some will want to go to Russia, and some to Ukraine.”
Excuse me, but OLESHKY IS UKRAINE! It is a city in the Kherson region, occupied by the Russian Federation.
Why are we once again talking about Russia and Ukraine as though they are two equally legitimate parties simply offering civilians different destinations?
Russia is the country that occupied this city.
For years, people have been living under occupation, isolation and catastrophic humanitarian conditions.
According to journalistic reports, civilians attempting to escape Oleshky and reach Ukrainian-controlled territory have been killed by drone strikes.
So what freedom of choice are we talking about?
I support any genuinely safe humanitarian operation that can save civilian lives.
But evacuation must not become a tool for legitimising occupation or removing responsibility from the aggressor.
We need independent international observers, genuine security guarantees, protection against coercion, and safe routes allowing civilians to reach Ukrainian-controlled territory.
And most importantly, no humanitarian agreement changes Ukraine’s internationally recognised borders.
RUSSIA OCCUPIED OLESHKY. RUSSIA BEARS RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROTECTING THE RIGHTS OF CIVILIANS UNDER ITS OCCUPATION.
Helping people is essential.
But humanitarian assistance must never become a political justification for occupation.
And we must stop presenting the aggressor and the victim of aggression as though they bear equal responsibility.
Oleshky is Ukraine. Kherson is Ukraine. Occupation does not change sovereignty.

So, the tanker ban protects about $3B in annual economic activity tied to a sustainable marine economy (you know stuff that doesn't involve shipping oil)...and it isn't unusual, the US has regulation as well. Borrowing from Peter to pay for Paul seems.....insane.
Strathcona Resources is proposing to ship up to 250,000 barrels of Canadian oil a day by rail to Prince Rupert and then on to overseas markets.
Only one thing stands in the way: Mark Carney's tanker ban.
Let’s create more 🇨🇦 jobs, get better prices for our resources, and be less dependent on the U.S. by voting YES to Conservative MP @DMcKenzieCPC's bill on Wednesday to scrap the tanker ban and put Canada first.

Scott, Obama made a joke about Trump’s decorating taste. You responded with an imaginary restaurant bill, his speaking fees, and a ten-year-old election grievance.
That’s quite a lot of emotional damage from one Cheesecake Factory joke.
And the irony of defending Donald Trump, a man who practically worships gold-plated luxury, by accusing someone else of being disconnected from ordinary Americans is spectacular.
Obama’s point was about a president obsessing over lavish renovations while Americans struggle with the cost of living. You managed to write an entire rebuttal without addressing that criticism.
Scott, when somebody makes a joke about the White House looking like a dictator’s wedding venue, and your best defense is that the comedian makes too much money, perhaps the joke landed.
You haven’t rebutted Obama. You’ve demonstrated why the Cheesecake Factory should charge extra for all that salt.

Here's what happened.
