#COP17 delegates. Welcome to #Yerevan. While you discuss biodiversity do ask your hosts why @freebunka has spent 11years alone in squalid unenriched confinement and why they've rebutted offers to give him a better life. #CBDCOP17 #COP17Armenia (keep retweeting official hashtags)

Delegates to COP17. While you discuss saving global biodiversity with your hosts in Armenia, a few miles away at @YerevanZoo this elephant suffers in squalor. Ask your hosts why they have refused to send him to sanctuary. #COP17 #COP17Armenia #Yerevan2026 #TakingActionForNature

I was shown a comment from @FreeBunka's tormentor @TobiasDornbusch who is responsible for Bunka's misery suggesting he wasn't actually hitting the feeder hard it just sounded worse due to an echo. He said this in no way suggested stereotyping. #COP17 @YerevanZoo #COP17Armenia

Dear delegates to #COP17. While you discuss global biodiversity please ask your hosts why the city has maintained @FreeBunka the elephant @YerevanZoo, alone for 13 years, now suffering mental and physical health issues. #CBDCOP17 #COP17Armenia #TakingActionForNature #Yerevan

Soon Yerevan will host delegates from all over the world discussing nature and biodiversity. As you do Bunka rots in @YerevanZoo. If you care about animals, please ask your hosts why @FreeBunka is not free. #COP17 #CBDCOP17 #COP17Armenia #TakingActionForNature #Yerevan

On #FreeBunka's repetitive laps I watched for an hour, he not only hits the feeder with his trunk, but as you can hear, he also bashes his barn door. Children watching him learn little more than @YerevanZoo is destroying his mind. @BornFreeFDN @ProEleNetwork

The death of a newborn calf recently brought the total #Elephant deaths at @ZurichZoo to 11 in a decade. EEHV, fatal injuries, TB, arthiritis (aged 37). What are they doing? It's not breeding for conservation or even entertainment. They are simply killing elephants.
