Too many workers pay nothing or very little, while the vast burden of income taxes fall on those earning above 40k a year.
We have the most ‘progressively’ punitive tax system in the world.

The barrier isn’t on freemasonry’s side. The Catholic Church does not approve of members being Freemasons.
I understand that @jk_rowling doesn’t want to put her friend in an awkward position & is protecting him but what she actually means (& mentions later) is that the barrier is from the church, not the order. I’m a catholic & a Freemason and the fraternity welcomes everyone!
