.@jonmchu’s #WickedMovie/ #Wicked is a glorious, glowing musical masterpiece. It’s not just fluffy homage. It’s a galvanizing force speaking to timely, timeless sentiments. Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo are magnificent. My review via @FreshFictionTV:

It was an absolute blast to speak with @ShannonTindle_1 & @JohnAoshima about #UltramanRising. These two are so smart and talented - and their passion for finding a new in-road into this iconic superhero is evident. Via @FreshFictionTV : freshfiction.tv/interview-ul…

#BeetlejuiceBeetlejuice is a mixed bag:
Good: the Bèla Tarr-inspired vignette
Bad: Narratively too busy.
BIG YIKES: a choir of young boys sings over the grave of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Jones’ character.

#AlienRomulus is a respectful, blood-soaked pastiche that broadens the franchise's evergreen themes on human existence & exploration. LOVED IT (except for one part). My review via @FreshFictionTV: freshfiction.tv/alien-romulu…

#ItEndsWithUsMovie is a mess of a film with its heart in the right place, at least occasionally. Blake Lively and Jenny Slate (an MVP!!) innocent. My review via @FreshFictionTV: freshfiction.tv/it-ends-with…

#TheInstigators is one of the most lifeless, joyless “action-comedies” I’ve seen delivered by Matt Damon, Casey Affleck & Doug Liman. It’s so dull you’re bound to fall asleep or click out by the finale. My review via @FreshFictionTV: freshfiction.tv/the-instigat…

#Twisters/ #TwistersMovie sucks so bad even Glen Powell’s excessive grinning can’t save it. There’s nothing fun, nor memorable about what’s essentially a remake disguised as a sequel. My review via @FreshFictionTV: freshfiction.tv/twisters-rev…

#MaXXXine is a scream and re-writes the legacy of “St. Elmo’s Fire (Man In Motion)” now as a song former 80s heartthrob Kevin Bacon gets punched in the face repeatedly to as a scuzzy P.I.. My review via @FreshFictionTV: freshfiction.tv/maxxxine-rev…

Richard LaGravanese’s #AFamilyAffair is there for those looking to have their Nancy Meyers-ish Itch scratched. It’s got some funny moments (mostly when Zac Efron comits to the bit), but overall is acceptable mediocrity. My review via @FreshFictionTV: freshfiction.tv/a-family-aff…
