As someone born in Texas and raised in North Carolina, this election made both states look like the ones I actually know, not the ones people keep describing to me.

Want to be clear that in 2024 Elon was so sure he was a political mastermind everyone loved he felt confident enough to do a winky nazi salute twice on national television, and then since then he totally failed in his role in the White House, lost a wisconsin special election, burned half a billion dollars losing the midterms, and is now pretending he never said anything all. What a massive downfall
Elon deleting all his tweets 🤣🤣🤣

and to realize he was actively learning how to pilot commercial airplanes in the middle of all of this is insane

Incredible film. I want to say this is the best documentary I have ever seen and I’m not sure if thats just because I’m a Nathan fan already or if it’s because I need to see more documentaries. But it’s also true
YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING, a documentary by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim. Featuring Elizabeth Holmes. Only in theaters this October.

Horrible scene if your primary philosophy about life only paints in black and white, not in shades of grey. Notice all the grey the background actors are wearing, clearly in support of a theme
why does everyone think the movie is taking the point of view of this speech lol. did you watch the fucking movie, digger is not someone to trust, rely upon, or listen to.

What’s fascinating about Digger is you can’t really post about it positively on social media without being an absolute hypocrite. I kind of loved the movie… and that’s enough activism for me for today

The macro design of @WARDOGS is seriously clever for a large-scale PvP game. The money pushes you to play differently depending on whether your current loadout is in profit or at a loss. Am I 14k in the hole? Yes. I should play safe. Am I a bit in the green? Yes. Well, yeehaw, peeking every corner is now on the menu. It also does a wonderful job rewarding things other than fighting, like reviving or transporting players and resources. A lot of those actions don't just pay you once; they pay literal dividends. Did a player you revived get a kill? Yes. Well, here's an assist and money every time they do.

Hi @GeoffKeighley - perhaps too late for this year, but a few of us feel The Game Awards needs a “Best Level Design” category. I’ve already secured the agreement of at least 4 people on the internet, so as you can see, the movement is growing rapidly. Thank you for your consideration.
Control Resonant is the closest thing we'll get to an Inception video game

This is a fair point, but for me, I think the context of each series matters a lot. Metal Gear as a franchise is built around the character Snake (Big Boss, clones, you know what I mean). Even in the game that doesn’t star him, MGS2, he still plays a pivotal role. RE, on the other hand, is a series that has reinvented itself a few times, with RE4 and RE7 being the biggest examples. The narrative in RE games is cool, but it's also less important than in Metal Gear. RE really is much more about the experience. Both series have a magic to them that I would want an adaptation to capture, just in different places
I think people can not like that a franchise game adaptation film doesn’t have any characters from the games. I wouldn’t like if they made a metal gear solid film about a random soldier without Snake, Big boss or Raiden or others even if it was good

This movie is *extremely* gory. And I'm not sure how it will work for you if you've never played a AAA-ish video game. But oh my goodness, as a comic meta-text about the absurdities of gaming, it's phenomenal. Also just a thrill-a-minute exercise in high-concept escalation. Maybe the funniest actually terrifying movie I've ever seen, as if John Carpenter made a satirical adaptation of Doom.
In my humble opinion you should go see RESIDENT EVIL this weekend because it kinda-sorta rules. Things that rule=things that are worth seeing. Cregger has now entered the Peele/Eggers-zone. Creeping up on Coogler, tbh. thebulwark.com/p/resident-ev…

Just got out of the @ResidentEvil movie. It’s super fun, especially if you are a fan of the games. I totally get why why people are saying it’s the best video game movie ever but I also think I preferred Weapons and Barbarian 8/10

The mentality that the only reviews that matter are the ones that reaffirm my expectations, ain't it. It's a cope, and you gotta look a bit deeper than that. Even if you ultimately disagree, everyone's experience is valid, and it's worth thinking about
