A common question, “Is that *turf*?” Yes it’s turf, which is NATURAL grass; not old, used tires. Hate how our industry has created a misconception of the term and the work we do day in and day out! @BarenbrugUSA #HGT in year 3: still thriving and needing no filter for pictures! – at Lexington, OH
Roy Rike Field at Jay Martin Soccer Complex could not be any more perfect for this weekend's @owuathletics homecoming double header matches. Natural pitch maintained at 1" thriving with cool season temps. Year 7 with our partner providing excellence, tradition, and player safety.

Sports field assessment found that:
Field condition was not linked to wear.
Field condition was linked to soil.
So address soil issues.
Don’t give up & buy a plastic field.
Prioritize #SustainableSportsFields.

For the love of gawd, quit calling artificial turf "turf". Any ground covering is turf. Grass is turf. Astroturf is artificial turf. Don't just make up names.
Field prepped for @OWUMSOC tonight as they kick off homecoming weekend! #BetterOnRealGrass

Environmental advocates in NH confirmed long-held fears about the industry’s turf-recycling claims: They managed to track down the old turf and discovered that it had been abandoned… bostonglobe.com/2024/07/18/s…
126 days post regrade & seeding, @BarenbrugUSA #HGT is glowing for @CHSTrojansFB first home game of the year. Given the challenging growing season and irrigation issues, the field has responded well and continues to prove superior over its competitors! #BetterOnREALGrass

Nice work @coachweaver22! Pretty amazing what a properly graded engineered soil, a natural grass blanket, and a great maintenance plan can provide! Way to #keepitreal and keep up the great work with you and your team. Good luck this season @obhsbaseball!

Thank you @OHSAASports for these high price tickets. I hope your organization gets investigated for robbing students and families. Can't afford to go out to eat or go to a HS football game with a family of 7

On this date in 1978, radio station WKRP in Cincinnati, OH held their first (and last) annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drop. News director Less Nessman (five time winner of the Buckeye Newshawk award) was on scene relaying every suspenseful moment. It still stands as one of the historic moments in broadcasting history.
After an excellent grow in @ohioelite on their game fields last year, it was decided to further improve more surfaces. @BarenbrugUSA #HGT w/ @FoliarPak 2 weeks post seeding on 2 more fields. Over half a dozen renovations later, this combination always proves superior @BFrench_ATS – at West Chester, OH

What a year and turnaround for @ohioelite! Vegetation kill off just a year ago and renovation with @BarenbrugUSA #HGT utilizing native soils & grades. Never a doubt these fields could met stringent specs in order to host @USWNT and 3 men's national teams this summer! @BFrench_ATS – at West Chester, OH
