Sometimes I think ppl are more offended by the suggestion that they've caused harm than by the harm itself. Their self-concept as a good person becomes the thing that needs protecting, and the person they've hurt is left having to manage the emotional consequences of telling the truth

Some people have a funny way of interpreting kindness. You give them room to make mistakes, overlook the hurt they've caused you, and instead of appreciating your restraint, they start seeing you as someone they can disrespect. I'd don't think some people deserve forgiveness..

Having to sexually appeal to men in order to gain any access to their resources is not a real privilege. The real privilege would be owning these resources that you can gatekeep from others until they appeal to you.
