This week is a perfect situation for Andy to phase Worthy out of the offense almost completely.
Bench Worthy under the guise of “injury” and start utilizing Allen in spurts over the next few weeks. You can sign Hill after the bye week and start acclimating him back into the offense and make him the focal point along with Rice, Kelce and Walker.
The Worthy experiment is over. He just doesn’t have the skills required to be an every-down NFL caliber WR. It’s better to recognize this now and attempt to course-correct rather than force him into a role he doesn’t belong in.
