Important game tomorrow evening, important we get back to winning ways on the road & build some more momentum.
A venue that’s always proved to be tricky for us, 3 points all that matter tomorrow evening, but a convincing display would be welcome.
Excellent weekend for Rangers overall, cup final secured & the leaders have lost today!
Still work to be done but we are on a very positive run of form & are grinding out the results. Unbeaten since Jablonec which is some turnaround from that disastrous evening.
I fully back this idea, as long as we get value out of it & we don’t go completely crazy with kick off times.
A Friday night football return wouldn’t be a terrible thing either! Hopefully Doncaster & Co don’t undersell our game this time.
𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘: SPFL offers end to UK’s 3pm blackout.
Broadcasters have been given the opportunity to acquire live rights to all Scottish Premiership matches for the first time, paving the way to the end of the UK’s Saturday 3pm blackout.
The SPFL is understood to have offered the option to bid for all matches in its next domestic cycle from 2029-30 and is increasingly confident the blackout will not be in place.
This would then allow other leagues, including the Premier League and EFL, to make their full inventories available in domestic rights auctions.
A frustrating part about tonight was the fact that so many players weren’t at it. We got into HT with the lead & a chance to reset & make the necessary tweaks.
What unfolded after was always going to happen when you stick with what wasn’t working in the 1st half.
Dan Neil was so poor tonight. I can’t believe he stayed on as long as he did. We were completely overrun through the middle & couldn’t get any control in there.
Overall we’ve gotten 1 more point than we deserved tonight. Simply not good enough. We’ve come to a tough venue & we’ve been outfought & outplayed ultimately.
The only positives are we haven’t lost & haven’t lost ground at the top. Had to make changes earlier than we did.
Big game tomorrow night at a notoriously difficult venue. We lost at Tynecastle twice last season & overall lost 3/4 games vs Hearts.
It’s a must win game & we don’t want to fall further behind. The first game of a very important week in our season.
Can’t believe it’s been 5 years already since Walter Smith’s passing. A true Rangers legend & one of greats of the game.
He will always be one of, if not my favourite manager of all time.
7 consecutive home victories in all competitions, but with 3 away trips in a row to come we need to drastically improve our away record. Only 12 wins in 37 away games in all competitions since April 2025 (W12 D13 L12).
10 points in our last 4 away does represent improvement.
Have to say I was pleased with Kim Min-Su’s performance today. He works hard & put in another positive display. You can see how desperate he is to get his first goal, hopefully that will be very soon.
If he carries on playing like he is, then it’s only a matter of time.
Really good result & performance overall today. Should have had more in the first half & after a sluggish start to the second half we found our feet & made it comfortable in the end!

Unpopular opinion going by the reactions I’ve seen so far but I actually like this kit. But why do we need a 4th kit? Especially with no Europe.

After Saturday Rangers don’t play another home game for a full month, with 3 away league games in a row & a trip to Hampden in that period.
It’s very important we don’t lose further ground in the league & are able to get through to the cup final. Pivotal period in our season.
No chance that all 14.5k fans that registered would actually go.
Club should make % of the tickets collection with ID before the game like Euro away games with punishments for non-collection. Would see less mass registrations.
Emails have been sent to those who were successful in the ballot for St Mirren away.
The club has received an allocation of 1,296 tickets for this fixture, and 14,558 registrations were received from MyGers members.
This allocation will be distributed across MyGers members, Rangers Supporters Clubs, seasonal VIP clients, and other club requirements as follows:

Seasonal VIP clients: 260
Other club requirements: 164

Not everything needs to be a conspiracy. Sky have clearly had successful viewing figures with the Saturday 8pm slot & with us having no Europe they will want to use that when possible.
I much prefer the 8pm Saturday games to the 12pm Sunday.
After a difficult weekend overall & us now falling 4 points behind Celtic it’s important we respond positively on Saturday against St Johnstone.
Some really tricky games to come before the international break that will be hugely important in how our season will pan out.
As disappointing as last night was a wee bit of perspective is required. 7 wins in a row after a horrendous start to the season going into last night, yes it’s 2 points dropped but we just have to respond positively.
Really disappointing performance & result. Excluding the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half we were off the boil & poor. The way we gave the goals away tonight were awful & now we face being 4 behind tomorrow.
242 tickets for nearly 15k mygers registrations shows something needs to change.
This is a league wide problem & we are very much included in the issue. We should offer every club the European allocation with condition of the same in return for our fans.
