Not sure it’s really being talked about enough — but Ottawa has had their best offseason (maybe ever) just months after being taken over in ownership by two female college students in Anna and Olivia Melnyk.

Canes prospect Jackson Blake (#9 for USA) has had an incredible game. Two disallowed goals (both legit, unfortunately), but has shown great pace, skill and vision with the puck. He looks like a stud.
