We're running a new study in Berlin and Cologne, and every skill level is welcome.
At the G2 Performance Lab, we're looking at how physiological states affect cognitive and gaming performance. It's two-hour sessions of focus tests, FPS tasks and a short cold-water face dip (~10°C) while we record your heart activity.
Top performer wins a signed G2 jersey, gain XP at the G2 Army app, and everyone else goes into a merch draw. To be eligible for the prizes, you must complete both sessions.

🧠Balancing Mental Health & Performance in Esports | G2 Performance Lab
Earlier this year, we launched the G2 Performance Lab to bring science and research closer to everyday practice in competitive esports.
Since then, we've been busy behind the scenes, from developing our coaches to optimising how we prepare our players. We've also doubled down on mental health and performance across G2, bringing two additional sport psychology experts on board to deliver workshops covering mental skills, emotion regulation, sleep and more.
And now we're taking the conversation beyond G2! On 2nd December, Ismael Pedraza-Ramirez, Réka Burján and Matt Watson from the Lab will be speaking at the Mental Health in Esports Conference in Brussels, alongside researchers and industry professionals. We'll be sharing insights into mental health, player development, coaching, and what it takes to create healthier, more sustainable environments in esports.
