Concrete may be one of our biggest problems in fighting climate change
We need to think about how we use less of it and only when needed
We can start by scrapping the OPW's WALLs

The Netherlands’ quality cycling infrastructure means a third of trips by people aged 65 to 75 are on a bicycle; the highest rate among all adult categories.
For many, the bicycle acts as a “rolling walking stick”; a type of mobility device far easier on the joints than walking. – at Delft, Nederland

The nectar, pollen & berries of ivy are an essential food source for insects and birds during autumn and winter when little else is about
Ivy also provides shelter for insects, birds, bats & other small mammals
Leave it alone - it’s doing no harm
@jmaher0 @oliver_moran was this cutting required? Playing field by burkes hill lotamore. Up to about a week ago the ditches were full of bees and butterflies with lots of wildflower variety and nettle stands...some wild orchid managed to survive in uncut sect.
I don't know if it's @corkcitycouncil responsibility to maintain this space so just asking the question..
