A change of scene today. Haven’t had a day out in #Edinburgh for many years so we decided to get the bus down today for a walk about 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Another stunning morning in highland Perthshire so we couldn’t resist nipping up another wee hill. This time it was Meall na Leitreach (775m) another local Corbett. A cold frosty start but we soon warmed up on the ascent. Great views and my back held up well again👍

After a couple of weeks with back pain it was good to get out on a wee hill today - Creag Bheag (487m). The first time we’ve done this since losing our wee dog @BtCulter so it felt a little strange 😢

After two days on the fells in wind and some heavy rain we decided to stay low and take a walk to Derwent Water and Keswick. Today’s high point - Castlehead. Another breezy and at times damp day with typical Lakeland views.

It sure is - he finished a couple of years ago at 76!!! I mountain bike with him - on e-bikes. Some great Border hills - our wee dug was named after one of them - Culter Fell.

A windy and at times very wet wander over Blencathra today. It’s been a while since we bothered to go out on such a day 🌧️ 💨 Definitely type 2 fun. Two on the way up and two on the way down.

A very changeable day in the Lakes but had a very enjoyable wander around the Coledale Fells. We did these frequently when we lived down here so this round brought back many memories.
