NARGC Jenkinstown had a busy week, and what a fantastic initiative. The pictures below show Clinstown National School, which recently released pheasants. The Club were in the school over the year and gave a talk on rearing and conservation, and they even gave the school an incubator to teach the kids the process from egg to releasing. The Club also presented native trees for National DayTree. Great work, Shane O Neill, Paudie Brennan, and Brian Maher. Another Club at the centre of the community.

ATTENTION: The government is holding a consultation on its "Disinformation Strategy" which ends tomorrow, so it's vital to weigh in now. Personally I vehemently oppose this, as I don't think it's the place of the government to regulate information. I think it's an extremely dangerous precedent for democracy.

Great news to hear substantial funding being allocated to this aera. Minister will you now set up a Nature Advisory Council or a Wildlife Advisory Council to ensure that this money is wisley invested and that proper collaboration and engagement takes place please with all NGO'S.

Just a reminder that Irish hunters contribute 5.9 million per annum to state coffers.
