What I saw trending:
1. #RWA, #DAT, #Stablecoins, #PayFi & #Perps — the top narratives in almost every room.
2. Fewer side events, higher quality — better curation, smaller but sharper conversations.
3. Legal & regulatory voices louder — the builders aren’t alone anymore, regulators are in the mix shaping the next phase.
My event focus:
1. RWA panels — diving deep into how assets meet chain and why 2025 is the inflection point.
2. L1/L2 demo days & hosted events — the protocol wars feel more like protocol showcases now, each trying to prove unique value.
3. Founder connections — the most valuable part. Talking with founders about how they think when facing challenges, the way they approach problem-solving, and how vision shapes execution. It’s about mindset, resilience, and creative ways to turn obstacles into opportunities.
Everyone comes to TOKEN2049 with their own agenda. Some chase side events, some network non-stop, others just come to learn. For me, it was about clarity: where is the industry really heading, and where should we be building?
Token2049 is not just an event, it’s a mirror of where Web3 energy is flowing. For me, this year reaffirmed that we’re moving from speculative hype to #infrastructure
