BREAKING: EU proposals delivered to Vladimir Putin include a scenario in which Russian forces are allowed to walk home on designated routes escorted by Ukrainian drones, as long as they leave their weapons and raise their hands while the Russians play "The world turned upside down"

🇷🇺 This is a very interesting clip in which Russian journalist Maksim Shevchenko discusses the latest Ukrainian drone attack on St. Petersburg.
Shevchenko questions why Moscow has air defenses while Russia’s “second capital” doesn’t.
He also raises the possibility that the attack could affect Russia’s diesel deal with Trump and echoes the Kremlin narrative suggesting the drones may have come from Estonia or Latvia.

According to one version of events, the musician may have accidentally sustained a gunshot wound at home while cleaning a firearm; another version suggests it was suicide.
Mavashi was the founder of the nationalist movement “Northern Man” (Severny Chelovek).

Putin, Trump and MAGA love repeating the story that NATO betrayed Russia by expanding eastwards, supposedly breaking a promise never to admit countries once trapped under Soviet communist rule.
There is one rather inconvenient detail they always leave out: those countries desperately wanted to join.
And with good reason.
They remember Soviet occupation, political executions, mass deportations to Siberia, forced collectivisation, prison camps, secret police, censorship and generations of lives destroyed by Moscow’s glorious socialist paradise. Families disappeared. Countries lost their independence. Ordinary people could be imprisoned for expressing the wrong opinion.
When communism collapsed, these nations did not need NATO to persuade them to escape Russian influence. They practically ran towards the door.
Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Czechia and the others understood something the MAGA intellectual establishment apparently struggles with: living next to Russia is considerably more pleasant when Russia cannot decide how you live.
And that brings us to Serbia.
Aleksandar Vučić, a leader who spent years cultivating Moscow while balancing Serbia’s European ambitions, has just been defeated by a student-led democratic movement. The celebrations in Belgrade tell their own story.
Serbia has its own complicated history, and nobody should pretend this election settles every question about NATO or EU membership. But it exposes the central absurdity of Moscow’s worldview.
When a European leader continually argues against Western integration while protecting Russia’s influence, the obvious question is whose interests he actually serves.
There is no need to invent secret payments to recognise a politician doing Moscow’s work.
NATO did not expand eastwards because Washington forced unwilling nations into an alliance. It expanded because countries with experience of Russian domination wanted protection from ever experiencing it again.
Putin, Orban, JD Vance, Hegseth and Trump calls that Western aggression.
Russia, meanwhile, has spent centuries discovering that keeping its neighbours within its sphere of influence generally requires threats, repression or an army.
That tells you almost everything about which civilisation has something worth offering.

🇷🇺 A rare confession from a Putin propagandist: Russia can no longer launch an offensive!
Blogger Mikhail Zvinchuk ("Rybar"), speaking live on "Soloviev Live," stated that the Russian offensive in Ukraine has been paralyzed by Ukrainian drones.
Furthermore, there is no possibility of resolving the situation through additional mobilization.
- 120 km: the depth at which Ukrainian drones are pulverizing Russian logistics trucks, one by one.
- Over 100 km: the depth at which Russian logistics were destroyed during the Ukrainian "Vivaldi" counteroffensive.
His words are almost poetic:
"Right now, first and foremost, there are no men. We lack the forces and resources for a major offensive. (...) If large columns were to advance, it would be impossible to ensure their control or security. (...) Even isolated vehicles are being taken out 120 km behind the lines. Just imagine what would happen if they were large columns."
In other words: even the Russian army acknowledges that massing forces at the front is suicidal.
And dispersing them is just as dangerous…

This chart is insane. This shows Russia's casualties over time compared to Russia's territorial gains in Ukraine over the last five years.
No sane or rational person would say continuing the war to try and take more of Ukraine's territory is worth the casualties.

Reality is finally crashing down on the Kremlin: Trump can't deliver the easy capitulation putin was banking on.
In a telling moment of backdoor realisation, putin’s top aide, Yuri Ushakov, just exposed Moscow's deep desperation. He admits that dealing strictly with Trump and his real estate “diplomats”, isn't working because Trump can't just bully Kyiv into submission. Instead, Russia is finally forced to accept a hard truth: they have to deal with a united Europe that stands firmly behind Ukraine. Desperate for progress, Moscow now wants Europe at the table—proving once and for all that Trump's 'magic wand' has completely failed.
Pavel Zarubin: “Is such an option possible, if Zelensky continues to behave insolently toward the American administration, that the American administration will simply dictate and force him to make the decisions that the American administration considers correct?”
Yuri Ushakov: “Well, you understand, even earlier there was an impression after Anchorage, too, that the American administration could dictate something like that and force Kyiv to fulfill it. But so far this hasn't quite worked out, because it's not enough to talk only with Kyiv; one needs to talk with the whole of Europe, which fully supports Kyiv, and perhaps Europe's position here is of a key character.”

Russia has turned its Shahed drone manufacturing plant in Tatarstan into a fortress, establishing 33 air defense positions around the Alabuga site, Radio Svoboda reports.
Satellite imagery from Oct. 21 shows that, since spring, concrete towers, launch pads for Pantsir and Tor air defense systems, and platforms equipped with anti-aircraft machine guns have been installed around the special economic zone.
Structures are also being prepared above production buildings to support anti-drone netting designed to protect the facility from Ukrainian strikes.
Alabuga is a key hub for Russia’s production of Geran attack drones, which are based on Iran’s Shahed design. Russia extensively uses these drones to attack Ukrainian cities and energy infrastructure.
In September, OSINT analysts also identified signs of construction of underground production facilities covering approximately 42,000 square meters within the complex.

WOW!!!!!!!
from TG
the entire regiment is listed as MIA now 1500-2000 troops!!!!!
UPDATE: We are publishing this without the photos of the correspondence at the request of a subscriber.
"The entire regiment has disappeared."
In August 2025, soldiers from the 22nd Motor Rifle Regiment were sent to the area near the village of Tetkino in the Kursk region. Since then, relatives have been trying to find even a small piece of the truth. The military unit's response is simple: the entire regiment has disappeared.
Yes, that's how simple and clear it is. The entire. Damn. Regiment!
Families have contacted the military prosecutor's office, the Investigative Committee, and other authorities. They have sent both collective and individual appeals. However, according to them, the responses they receive are just standard replies. No searches are being conducted, and there is no information.
In the latest response from the military investigative committee to one of the families, they were informed that the missing person is not in captivity, nor in morgues, nor in hospitals. And what now? Where should they look for a person if, officially, they are nowhere to be found?
It seems that at the 22nd Motor Rifle Regiment, the easiest thing to do is to list everyone as missing in action and close the case with a piece of paper. But for the relatives, this issue is not closed for even a single day. Where are the soldiers of your regiment? Perhaps it's time to take control of the situation and stop hiding behind standard replies and meaningless responses.

NEW: Ukrainian forces are making slow but tactically significant gains in the Oleksandrivka direction that may later threaten Russian logistics and efforts in the Oleksandrivka and Hulyaipole directions over the long term.
Other Key Takeaways:
Ukraine had a slightly lower but still relatively high interception rate of Russian jet-powered drones during the Starshield restrictions in mid-October 2026, but will need innovative jet-powered interceptors to work to sustain and improve these interception rates over the long term.
Russian forces recently advanced in the Novopavlivka direction.
Ukrainian forces conducted a series of long-range strikes against industrial facilities in Russia. Russian forces conducted several high-casualty strikes on October 24 and 25, including in western Ukraine.

The Iran conflict may be opening a fuel-logistics door for the United States in the Asia-Pacific.
The Philippines, hard hit by the Middle East crisis, is discussing a strategic petroleum reserve with Washington. Energy ministers raised the idea on 15 October; talks remain at the stage of finding a format. Manila needs the reserve because it depends on imported fuel and is exposed to disruptions. It plans a state stockpile by 2027–2028 and sees American experience as useful.
Washington may seek a clause allowing U.S. forces to draw on the reserve, fitting its broader effort to expand fuel logistics across the region. Manila would gain protection from shortages; the United States would gain more reliable supply for its forces. The crisis is only accelerating the push toward American partners.

This addition allows the drones to hide in grass or bushes out of visual range while waiting to strike targets.
Operators can detect conversations, light vehicles, and heavy equipment over varying distances.
The technology also enables operators to hear approaching threats and relocate to avoid counter-ambush missions. But it may be more significant in future for locating artillery.
What did it look like when the Soviet Union collapsed, and what would it look like if the Russian federation collapsed liked the Soviet Union did?
By 1990–91, Moscow’s revenues and control over the economy were deteriorating while it still funded subsidies, state firms, social programs, and the union-wide bureaucracy. The state covered large deficits by expanding the money supply rather than by raising reliable revenue or borrowing sustainably. In 1991, the aggregate fiscal deficit of the Soviet republics is estimated at about 26% of GDP.
According to world bank records, At the same time, the USSR’s hard currency position collapsed. Foreign-exchange reserves reportedly fell to about $5.1 billion by June 1990, less than two months of import;
By 1990–91, gold and foreign-exchange reserves were essentially exhausted as short-term foreign debts were repaid; imports had to be cut sharply.
-What would it look like if the Russian Federation collapses in the same way due to the Ukraine invasion?
Probably not as a clean replay of 1991. If the Russian Federation suffered a true state collapse event, it would more likely begin as a breakdown in Moscow’s ability to fund, command, and arbitrate.
Russia today is far more centralized than the late USSR: regional elites are weaker, heavily tied to federal security and economic structures, and most regions rely on the center.
That makes near-term fragmentation unlike; but if the center itself failed, the resulting breakdown could be more violent and uneven than the Soviet dissolution.
What if the elites removed Putin?
An elite coalition would probably choose a figure who is acceptable to the coercive apparatus and does not threaten existing property, wartime networks, or immunity arrangements.
The early moves would likely be:
Announce that constitutional order, pensions, salaries, banks, and military command remain intact.
Secure nuclear command, strategic forces, communications, and major media outlets immediately.
Remove or rotate a small number of visibly unpopular or politically exposed official ( look for that in the September election) but avoid broad purges that frighten the system.
Offer the public a stability narrative: “Putin’s course, corrected and professionally managed.”
Potentially pursue a tactical Ukraine ceasefire or frozen conflict if it protects the regime, reduces fiscal pressure, or eases sanctions. It would not necessarily provided a democratic or pro-Western shift.
They would aim their internal propaganda to present a victory and frozen line as what they had planned all along.
Even Russian Imperialist commentators say therere is no money for more war.

🇷🇺‼️ Russian nationalist journalist and imperialist commentator Maksim Kalashnikov has issued a stark warning about Russia’s deteriorating economic situation, claiming that Moscow is approaching a state of emergency and may be unable to finance further military escalation.
Kalashnikov interpreted Vladimir Putin’s statements about renewed trilateral peace negotiations involving Russia, Ukraine and the United States as a sign of serious domestic difficulties.
“The budget is in bad shape. We are seeing such severe declines across 11 sectors that talking about any escalation toward the Baltic states or mobilizing reservists is completely pointless. There is simply no money for it,” he wrote.
“We could end up facing an economic collapse. We are on the brink of a state of emergency.”
🔥 What makes Kalashnikov’s warning notable is that it comes from a Russian imperialist commentator rather than a Kremlin opponent advocating an end to the invasion.
His assessment suggests concern within Russia’s own nationalist circles that the economic cost of the war is restricting Moscow’s ability to sustain existing operations, mobilize additional manpower or contemplate further military confrontation with European countries.
His claims about an approaching economic collapse remain an assessment, not an established outcome. Nevertheless, prolonged military expenditure, budgetary pressure and weakness in civilian industries could increasingly constrain the Kremlin’s strategic options.
