【October 15 is Global Handwashing Day】 Global Handwashing Day was established in 2008 by a partnership of international organizations, including UNICEF, and corporations to protect children worldwide from diseases and promote proper handwashing. Handwashing is an important preventive measure against several Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), though not all of them. #Echinococcosis,one of the 21 recognized #NTDs is directly linked to contamination.
