Players: What will you do to serve your team tomorrow?
✴️Give up your reps to help a new player.
✴️Get someone's water bottle.
✴️Tell a story about when you were first starting out.
✴️Pull a struggling teammate aside.
✴️Bring positive energy.
✴️Recognize a role player.
✴️Have something to say at the end of practice.

Most people want the return before they make the deposit.
It doesn’t work that way.
Every workout.
Every early morning.
Every extra rep.
Every hard conversation.
Every day you show up when you don’t feel like it.
Those are the deposits.
Success is the return.

10-year study complete! I did a study of a softball program comparing Wins and Losses with GPA per year. Here is what I found:
4 best years: 3.61 GPA, 30 wins (average), 7.75 losses (average).
4 worst years: 2.95 GPA, 20.5 wins (average), 11.5 losses (average).
Results speak for themselves. Getting it done in the classroom has a strong relationship with success on the field.

Assistant coaches are the unsung heroes.
They develop players, build team culture, make tactical calls, and do the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running.
Teams don’t succeed without them. 👏

“There’s nothing old school about holding each other accountable, having an incredible work ethic, being incredibly competitive, being willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the group."
Calling discipline and accountability “old school” is often just an excuse to avoid them.
Winning values never go out of style.
