George Mason Athletics mourns the loss of longtime administrator Carolyn Marsh.
The matriarch of the @MasonMBB program and a foundational titan of its rise to national prominence, Marsh proudly served GMU for 46 years.
We are keeping husband, Jay, and family in our thoughts.

HISTORY MADE 🏆
@MasonWBB is rewriting program history with their first-ever A-10 Conference title AND @NCAA Tournament bid 👏
ALT George Mason Women’s Basketball won their first-ever A-10 Championship AND secured their first NCAA Tournament bid.
ALT The Patriots went from only three wins in 2021 to, now, an A-10 Conference title in 2025. In a season of firsts, they’ve set a new program record with 27 wins and earned their highest-yet seed (2) in the A-10 Tournament.
ALT Their 73-58 victory secured their spot in the 2025 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament for the first time in their program’s 51-year history.
