TRAGIC AND PREVENTABLE DEATH:
Ryan OâShea, 21, a University of New Haven student and club hockey senior assistant captain, was killed Oct. 16 in a head-on crash on I-91 in North Haven, CT, when a pickup truck traveling the wrong way struck his vehicle.
The driver was Guillermo Carmona-Lopez, a 31-year-old Mexican illegal alien. He should never have been in the United States in the first place, let alone behind the wheel.
In May 2013, Border Patrol arrested Carmona-Lopez after he illegally entered the country. He was issued an expedited removal and removed. He then illegally reentered â a felony â and was arrested again by Border Patrol. He was issued a final order of removal and later reentered at an unknown time and place.
OâShea was returning to campus after a hockey game. He was studying criminal justice and aspired to join the NYPD. His family joins the many American families who have been left with unimaginable loss.
Loss that was preventable.

Amaury Jose Monsalve Figuera, a CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIEN from Venezuela, was arrested for firearms, ammunition, drug, and open-container offenses.
His green card was revoked following immigration fraud proceedings, and an immigration judge ordered his removal on October 19.
Work authorization or a pending application does NOT make you an American citizen or give you the right to remain in this country.
He remains in ICE custody pending DEPORTATION.

NEW: ICEâs Victims of Immigrant Crime Engagement (VOICE) office has released emotional video showing Angel Mom Elizabeth Carter confronting the Indian illegal alien semi truck driver who is charged with killing her son and his newlywed wife in a crash in Oregon last November.
The exchange happened as ICE was transferring RAJINDER KUMAR to state custody in Oregon earlier this month to face charges of two counts of first degree manslaughter and three counts of recklessly endangering another person as a result of the crash. ICE gave Carter a chance to speak to KUMAR in an ICE vehicle before the transfer.Â
ICE says they had arrested KUMAR after law enforcement in Deschutes County, OR ignored their detainer and released him from custody in April. Â
Kumar had been caught and released at the AZ border by the Biden admin in November 2022 and was given a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) by the state of California.Â
In the video - an emotional Carter says:
âHello Mr. Kumar. My name is Elizabeth Carter. Iâm William Micah Carterâs mother. And I wanted you to know that I pray for you and your family, I know you didnât get up that morning planning to kill two newlyweds. And I know your family is going through something important too.â
