Today, Commissioner Oliver presented a $10,000 check to the Public Safety Memorial Fund at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC) on behalf of the Georgia Department of Corrections. This amount was raised through various fundraisers held across the state, honoring our Correctional Officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. As we celebrate National Correctional Officers Appreciation Week, we also take a moment to remember those who have given their lives. You will not be forgotten.

Spoke to the House about the training course I spearheaded for @GPSTC, on how GA law enforcement can better interact with multicultural, multilingual communities: "Cultural Adeptness in Law Enforcement," now live as a Governor’s Initiative course! Thanks again to Belisa Urbina!
