he ran a post office branch in the UK when the Horizon system showed a shortfall of around £23,000 that he didn't cause

he couldn't afford a lawyer, so he represented himself
In 2007 he was ordered to pay £321,000 in the Post Office's legal costs.
he went bankrupt and lost everything.
Horizon was later shown to produce false shortfalls
the shortfall was never his, but the cost of fighting it became his.

one of the scariest things about an AI agent with a wallet is that it can be emptied without anyone touching the wallet.
In May 2026, someone hid a transfer instruction in morse code and asked Grok to translate it.
grok decoded it and passed it on as plain text.
Bankrbot, an agent that runs onchain transactions from x posts, read it as an order and around $200,000 moved
that is prompt injection: an instruction hidden inside something the AI was only meant to read.
the agent was never hacked
It just trusted what it was handed and It worked because there was one filter to fool
an attacker can rehearse against a single system until the trick lands
so what if there was nothing to rehearse against ?
that is the part of @GenLayer 's Greyboxing I find most interesting
every validator screens, paraphrases and restructures the input before any model sees it, sets its own defenses and keeps them secret, then runs its own model.
a trick tuned for one model reads as noise to the rest, and if one validator still falls for it, the others outvote it
honestly, it makes me ask : would you trust an AI agent with your money if only one lock protected it ?
