The number of people injured in the Russian strike on a university campus and the surrounding area yesterday evening has risen to 12. Five of them are students and university staff. While emergency services were helping people and dealing with the aftermath of the first strike, the Russians used ballistic missiles again. In total, 16 ballistic missiles were launched overnight. More than 280 drones as well. Tragically, there have been casualties and hits in Kyiv, including on the South Bridge. A serious escalation in Russia’s operation against our logistics. There were also strikes on the Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Kherson, and Chernivtsi regions. Almost everywhere, Russia’s targets were the energy sector, logistics, and ordinary urban infrastructure.
The artificial and prolonged delays in the delivery of interceptor packages for Patriot and NASAMS systems, which unfortunately have occurred recently, are directly helping Russia achieve the objectives of its terrorist campaign. Every such delay means another Russian strike on one facility or another. Unfortunately, strikes are taking place every day. Russia is constantly taking new steps toward escalation. Pressure on Russia and real support for Ukraine are needed to change the situation. I thank everyone who truly supports our efforts to protect lives and understands the importance of support packages arriving on time. We must bring peace closer and save lives. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine!

Overnight, Russia has attacked Ukrainian cities and communities with 16 ballistic missiles and over 280 drones.
In Kyiv, a strike hit a university campus, nearby residential buildings, a park, and the area around a metro station. Since the evening of October 27, one person was killed and at least 15 were injured in Kyiv.
In Kharkiv, two people were killed and at least four were injured by Russian attacks. In Dnipro region, three civilians were wounded overnight. Russia also struck other Ukrainian regions, targeting energy facilities, logistics and civilian infrastructure.
As Russia is escalating its terror, Ukraine needs timely air defence supplies and real pressure on Russia to stop its war. Artificial delays in delivering interceptors for Patriot and NASAMS systems are helping Russia carry out its terror campaign. Ukraine must not be left alone to protect lives.

Met with 🇲🇩 Prime Minister Vasile Tofan, @Vasile_Tofan, in Kyiv today.
Ukraine and Moldova are heading to the EU together. Ukraine's accession matters for Moldova's security, just as Moldova's matters for ours. Synchronised integration makes both strategic and economic sense.
We are reinforcing stability in the region: we signed an Agreement on Military-Technical Cooperation, which will bolster our joint efforts to counter Russian threats.
Thanked Moldova for the discounted rail freight rates agreed in response to Russian terror in the Black Sea.
We are ready to extend joint border control to two more crossing points with Moldova, and will sign an agreement on this shortly.
We value our energy partnership, including the arrangements for gas transit via the Trans-Balkan Corridor. Moldovan companies are already using Ukrainian gas storage facilities.
We also agreed to relaunch the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Odesa Triangle format, which brings together Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania. We plan to hold the first Triangle meeting at prime ministerial level.
Thank you to Mr Tofan and the Moldovan Government for the steadfast support of 🇺🇦.

I met with Prime Minister of Moldova @Vasile_Tofan. We discussed many bilateral issues, first and foremost infrastructure projects that can improve the lives of our people. Of course, we also discussed European integration. Moldova and Ukraine are certainly stronger when we move forward on this track together. And it is important that we carry on together, because it is fair.
We also discussed the security dimension: the issue of Transnistria and strengthening our military cooperation – today, the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Moldova signed a corresponding cooperation agreement. It is important to deliver results for our people and our countries.

An honour to discuss with 🇺🇦President @ZelenskyyUa concrete projects to better connect our countries - bridges, railways, as well as stronger energy interconnections.
We spoke about the joint management of water resources, particularly the Dniester River, alongside new opportunities for businesses from both nations. Another major topic was security, including cooperation to protect our airspace and ensure the safety of our citizens.
Moldova and Ukraine want the exact same thing: peace, development, and a safe, prosperous future for our citizens in the European Union.

This past week alone, Russia has launched around 1,600 guided aerial bombs, 48 missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles, and nearly 2,300 attack drones against Ukraine. Unfortunately, almost every day, these brutal strikes leave people killed and injured. In the evening, Russian strikes on the Dnipro region killed four people. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 22 people were injured, including an 11-year-old girl. In Vinnytsia, a Russian drone struck a high-rise apartment building. Six people were injured. In Kharkiv, the Russians first struck a home improvement hypermarket and then carried out a cynical double-tap strike on the emergency services that arrived at the scene. First responders were injured. There were also strikes overnight on a thermal power plant, substations, coal mines, grain storage facilities, shopping malls, and a postal logistics hub. Damage has been reported in nine regions.
This is how Russia responds to diplomacy and deisolation. And it is very important that support for those who protect lives not diminish alongside the negotiation process. We need to unblock the deliveries of Patriot interceptors already approved by European countries. We need to continue supporting Ukrainian combat aviation to defend against jet-powered “shaheds.” Every such defense package, especially ahead of winter, helps save lives. I thank all partners who provide this kind of support.

Russia launched another wave of attacks against Ukraine overnight, killing at least two civilians and injuring 34 more across the country.
In Kyiv, one person was killed and 22 injured, including four children. Residential buildings, energy and transport infrastructure, businesses, and a monastery were damaged.
In Kharkiv region, a Russian strike killed one person and damaged homes, an office building and a medical facility. In Poltava region, Russian forces struck a private broadcaster. Overall, 12 regions of Ukraine were under attack. Energy infrastructure was also targeted by Russia.
Moscow continues to answer diplomatic efforts with more attacks on civilians. Ukraine needs stronger air defences, faster deliveries of missiles, and increased pressure on the aggressor to end its war.

Three waves of ballistic missiles have been launched at Kyiv by Russian “humanitarians” since yesterday evening. They used 21 missiles. Unfortunately, numerous sites across the city have been hit and damaged: ordinary residential buildings, energy facilities, infrastructure at one of the railway stations and the metro, shopping malls, and businesses. Even a monastery is among the damaged sites. Our emergency services are working at all the affected locations. Twelve of our regions came under Russian attack overnight. In Kyiv and across the regions, 34 people were injured, including five children. As of now, two people have been confirmed killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
Almost immediately after another round of talks, Russia launched a pointed attack. This means there has been no real change in its attitude toward everything that is happening. It is important to keep trying to find the right solutions to end this war. But when Russia responds to negotiations with ballistic missiles, real pressure on Russia is needed to bring about different steps – steps toward ending the killing. Stronger air defenses and the rapid delivery of missiles, the ability to destroy ballistic missile launchers, sanctions over the war – all of this must be in place. I am grateful to everyone who sees the situation for what it is and acknowledges the reality. The aggressor deserves to be treated accordingly. Ukraine deserves support. People's lives deserve protection. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine!

Russia launched 16 ballistic missiles and over 200 drones against Ukraine overnight, damaging energy infrastructure, homes, a medical clinic, a school, and a metro station. There are killed and injured in these Russian attacks.
Energy facilities were hit in 11 regions. Over ten energy infrastructure facilities were damaged, leaving at least 550,000 families without electricity. These attacks have killed and injured civilians.
Ukraine has said yes to every ceasefire proposal from our partners. Russia has repeatedly responded with missiles, drones, and killings.
The war continues because Russia chooses to continue it. Blocking air defence supplies to Ukraine while easing sanctions on Russia only undermines efforts to end the aggression. Ukraine needs support to defend itself and protect its people.
