Greenwich Builds is stepping up to tackle the housing crisis, working with @tomcopley and @SadiqKhan.
It was lovely to meet some of the new residents of Kidbrooke Park in Greenwich with @MrOkereke.
Consisting of 452 homes and designed by HTA architects, it is the largest entirely new-build council housing scheme in the country, developed by @Royal_Greenwich.

This Labour government’s transformative Renters’ Rights Act empowers private renters to challenge unreasonable rent increases.
If a tenant believes a proposed rent increase is above the open-market rent, they can refer the matter to the First-tier Tribunal.
In a recent case in Manchester where the Landlord proposed an increase in rent from £1,650 per calendar month to £1,700, the Tribunal determined the open market rent was actually £1,450 per calendar month.
We’re standing up for renters and our reforms are working.

Councillor Anthony Okereke has set out a pipeline of more than 50,000 potential new council homes across London if sufficient funding is made available.
London Councils is also seeking fiscal devolution and estimates a borough funding gap of up to £1.2 billion in 2026-27.
