A hardworking Malawian national carrying nothing but a pillow drew attention as he arrived in Blantyre among 150 Malawians repatriated from South Africa’s Western Cape Province.
The man, whose identity has not yet been established, was seen clutching the pillow as his only visible possession after spending years in South Africa.
His arrival stood in stark contrast to that of other returnees, many of whom carried bags and other personal belongings.
While some of the returnees appeared relieved and happy to be back home, others looked saddened as they disembarked from buses at Kamuzu Stadium.
The repatriation follows the recent relocation of Malawian nationals from the Western Cape amid growing tensions and protests targeting foreign nationals in some communities.

Those who support illegal immigration also support children kidnappings, prostitution, baby factories, drug smuggling and all the ills done by Nigerians in this country!

Kanté doesn’t have any drama like this, he’s just a normal humble gentleman focused on football.

This is heartbreaking. Child kidnappings are evil and the community’s anger is understandable, but burning vehicles and attacking emergency services won’t solve the problem. We need urgent, proper police investigation and arrests of the actual perpetrators. Protect the children💔
