321,000 pounds. For legal costs. Over a shortfall he never caused.
Lee Castleton didn't lose because he was wrong. He lost because he couldn't afford to prove he was right, and the system charged him for trying.
I keep thinking about what that looks like once it's not a subpostmaster against a corporation, it's you against your own AI agent.
Your agent approves a payment it shouldn't have. You dispute it. The dispute itself costs more in fees and time than the payment did. So you let it go, the same way Castleton couldn't let it go but was forced to anyway, just in the opposite direction, silence instead of bankruptcy.
Justice has always worked for whoever could afford to keep showing up. Agents making millions of small deals a day will multiply that exact failure millions of times over, except now nobody shows up at all because showing up was never affordable in the first place.
@GenLayer settles this with independent validators reviewing evidence together, reaching a verdict in minutes instead of years, at a fraction of what a courtroom costs anyone.
What's the smallest dispute you've ever let go simply because fighting it would have cost more than losing it?

It's been this way for centuries. It doesn't have to be.

The only evidence against Anthony Ray Hinton was ballistics. The bullets never matched his gun.
His lawyer wrongly believed that 1,000 dollars was all he had to hire an expert. A budget number sat in the middle of a question about a man's life. Hinton spent nearly 30 years on death row before new tests showed the bullets did not come from his gun, and he walked free in April 2015.
Soon AI agents will make millions of deals, and the disputes will turn on evidence too. I would not want the answer to rest on one reviewer or one budget. @GenLayer settles disputes with many independent AI validators who each review the evidence and reach a verdict together, in minutes.
When the evidence is the whole case, how many independent reviewers would you want before you trusted the verdict?

Anthony Ray Hinton spent almost thirty years on death row because his lawyer thought he could only afford a bad expert witness.
Not because the evidence was strong. Because the money wasn't there, and the system let that decide the outcome instead of the truth.
I think about how quietly that same logic could creep into agent commerce.
An AI agent flags another agent's claim as fraudulent, wrongly, and the counterparty has no realistic way to challenge it because mounting a dispute costs more than most individual transactions are even worth. The agent that made the mistake never faces consequences. The one who was wronged just absorbs it, the same way Hinton absorbed three decades because nobody with money was willing to look closer sooner.
Justice has always worked best for whoever could pay for it. Soon agents will be striking millions of deals a day, and if even a fraction go wrong the way Hinton's case went wrong, we are building an entire economy on the same broken assumption, that being right only matters if you can afford to prove it.
@GenLayer settles disputes through independent AI validators reaching a verdict together, in minutes, at a fraction of what any court costs.
If an agent wrongly accused you of something and proving your innocence cost more than the accusation itself, would you still fight it?

One thing worth watching with @RebateLaunch is how rewards connect to platform activity.
Buyers get bonus tokens, holders earn USDG, and launch fees fund $REBATE burns.
The real question is whether this model can maintain value as adoption grows.
..@RebateLaunch brings a fresh approach to token launches on Robinhood Chain. Buyers earn bonus tokens, holders receive USDG payouts, and launch fees fund $REBATE burns.
Its long-term success depends on real demand and consistent platform activity.

Txns on a bigger screen? Take my MONEY!!!!!
So i had @PayBox open on my TV, big screen, and ran 3 onchain swaps across 3 different chains without touching a single wallet UI
• Base: swapped USDC to ETH
• Polygon: flipped WPOL to USDC
• Solana: sold SOL to USDC through Jupiter
watching the quotes come in and confirmations land on that screen hit different. felt less like using a tool and more like actually commanding your portfolio
the "one chat, any chain" thing isn't a slogan.
it's literally just what happened
