Magnificent. Temba, and test cricket. Greatest sport in the world.
A friend in the UK sent me this, saying "This is one for you." It's nice to have friends who know you.

2 Proteas Test sides will forever hold a special place in my heart… Hansie Cronje’s side that conquered India in 2000 and Graeme Smith’s band of warriors that stormed Australia in 2008.
Temba Bavuma’s side now sits comfortably alongside those legends.
Only in the US will the government try so hard to kill you that they have to do it twice, then work so hard to keep you alive - all the while being unsure whether they should try to kill you again once you’ve recovered.
Came into that test very undercooked. Been a while since we’ve faced some well drilled opposition.
Congrats to the Wallabies for comprehensively outplaying the Boks.

Worst delivery of the year….
Strangest dismissal of the year….
Oh cricket we love you. Please never change 🏏 xitter.cf/ravimane53/status/2100…
Not one penalty kicked by the AB's over a four game series. Pretty wild & reminds me of the closing stages of the 2007 RWC game v France when a droppie was on backing yourself to score tries is one thing, but game management wins the big occasions.
Such a wonderful acknowledgment of the history between these two teams that the series was called “The Greatest Rivalry”. Bok records in their last 10 matches against our greatest rivals paints a slightly different picture.

The meltdown has began. A lose against Australia and they will call for Rennie's head. Enjoy this one #Springboks fans #RSAvNZL #Rugby
“Regardless of the result, the All Blacks will get more out of this series than the Springboks”.
If getting battered, bruised, and a reality check of just where they are as a rugby nation counts; they sure were right.
The fact that the Boks have replaced the All Blacks as the number one global rugby brand was on full display last night in Baltimore. Home games everywhere away from home.
I said it before, all this talk of a Bok v AB quarter final next year shows immense disrespect to the hosts, who will fancy knocking over the men in black in their pool game. It’s what Australia do come big RWC moments.
Am delighted that Rennie has been revealed as a one-trick-pony. The oke was bang average when he coached Aus save for a decent record against the Boks, and continues to be bang average.
They are very far off. They will soon be at Fiji and Samoa levels of competitiveness. Simply is what it is.

Siya bursting into song the perfect finish to the most compelling series I can remember. Another immense game of rugby in Baltimore; on and off the field, this really is the greatest rivalry. A sporting contest for the ages.
